thanks for the tutorial, B and JC.

Didn't know if you wanted me to post that idea we talked about but basically, the goal is to make it easy for affiliates to sign up and not to confuse them with other programs or reveal other deals than the one you're offering.  would it be possible to create a program, build links to banners, etc. and then get code from that to send to the affiliate so that when they register they see just that one program for that one film.  If you had other programs, you'd be able to mail out other links.

This would NOT be based on individually pre-entering which affiliates get the program (as the geo-tracking is now) but seems simpler: send out the link for one program to a group of potential affiliates and let them sign up without getting distracted by other programs.

As far as allowing affiliates to see other films after they register, that's fine, but again you don't necessarily want them to see other deals for the same film.  Would there be a way to limit that other than manually entering each affiliate?

Hi Steve,

Yes, this is a good idea and we will integrate this in the next release:

1. Ability to have "private" programs rather than have all of your programs "public".

2. In the create programs, we will have a "get link" and/or "send link" button, that will automatically request or register an affiliate to the desired program. (This link will be different from your "base" sign up link which will show all public programs.)

3. Public Programs of other filmmakers will be listed into a separate page to distinguish them from your public & private programs.
