Self-Distribution / Support Forums / Neoflix / Tracking affiliate organizations (question from client)

I have an e-store question.  When the e-store is set up on my web site to sell the DVD, is there a way to add a box that says something like "Charity Code?"  I'm working on several deals with charities where they send traffic to my site and I give them a cut of the sales.  I want to be able to give each charity a code word so I can give credit where credit is due. Not sure if this is a question for you or someone at neoflix.
Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason,

There are 2 ways:

[1] We have a coupon code system where you would assign a particular coupon code to each organization.  And we can then use the coupon usage report to
determine how many sales from that org.  Note that a buyer using that code would expect to receive a discount, but if you did not want to offer a  discount, the other ways is to use our affiliate marketing program to track sales.

[2] The organization would sign-up as an affiliate; you would sign up as a merchant.  You would then use our platform to create banners that each organization would put on their website.  When a buyer from the organization clicks through the banner from that website, our system will track it until a sale is completed.  Then the affiliate marketing software will report each organization's performance.
