Hey Brian and JC,

Thanks for everything so far. We really like working with you guys! As per JC's request, I'm posting the following feedback...

As some of our customers were having difficulties fully completing their orders, I wanted to check out the ordering process for myself. So, I did a test recently and ordered a copy of our own movie through Neoflix. Here are my thoughts:

1) The auto-default is set to "Send me email updates" - I think that the auto-default should be an UNticked box, allowing the User to check or uncheck this option.
I'm wondering, does Neoflix send out updates to the people who leave this box ticked? Or was this designed for the benefit of the filmmaker to find out 'true fans' of the film?

2) The Billing Info -'Copy from shipping info' link is not prominent and it is really difficult to see - it's in light blue text and in a tiny font. I think that this option ('Copy from shipping info') should be way more evident - a tickbox with bigger, bolder, darker lettering.

3) It took me two attempts to reach the 'Review Your Order Details' page. After refresh wasn't responding, I had to hit the 'back' button in my browser - and all of my order information had disappeared. I was okay with re-entering my info again, but I can see this being a source of frustration for some customers. Is there a way to maintain the integrity of the filled-out information fields at least until the order is fully completed?

4) The following will benefit everyone involved (the filmmaker, the customers and Neoflix):

On the 'Review Your Order Details' page, I think it needs to be much clearer that the order will NOT be processed until the customer actually clicks the "CONFIRM ORDER" button. Wording to this effect should be in bold print for people who are not used to ordering things online. And maybe the "CONFIRM ORDER" button could be more prominently placed near the top of the page to ensure that no one has to scroll down to see it.

We have received emails from customers who thought they had successfully ordered a copy of our film and when I go to check the system, they are not listed. I'm thinking it's because they never clicked "CONFIRM ORDER" - they thought the 'Review Your Order Details' was the final screen.

Hi Jenny,

Thanks for the post.  Just to answer your first Q, the checked email updates are for your use.  We don't really collect the emails for our marketing use.

If your using Box Office Widget, you can import your Neoflix customers into a list, and it will indicate which users have opted in/ opted out.

Brian
