My response might be a little different, but I really think each movie should be sold as a stand alone entity. The reason is, each movie will have a different genre, different story and may very well appeal to a completely different audience.
As such, your website should be set up to attract traffic and collect audience names/emails. Then after you release your movie, you will then market directly to your audience list for that particular movie.
That said, I think it is OK to have a general website for your production company that catalogs all of your titles. However, this should not be your primary point of sale. __________________An LA Based independent motion picture producer specializing in internet marketing for YOUR movie so you can get MORE buzz, get MORE followers and have MORE fun! http://www.FilmmakingStuff.com
